It's getting late...

It is nearly midnight and I have to be up for work before 6 tomorrow so I just wanted to write a quick post to say I had one full (and wonderful) week and weekend. I climbed Kennesaw Mt. with Mary Cowan again on Tuesday, made it to my gym class again on Wed. (is that two or three weeks in a row now?!?!) and got to catch up with one of my friends that I have known for 20 years on Thursday! Thanks again Amanda for having me over! I had a great time catching up and crocheting away! Thursday night was "girls night in" at Natalies so I went over there after visiting with Amanda and just spent the night at Natalie's since it was late and she lives so close to work. I am afraid that I am that I know how wonderful a seven minute commute is my 35-45 min commute is going to be hard in the morning!!
Saturday I missed a graduation party but I did get my closet rotation of winter to summer clothes done! (Yeah! That is a big job!!) Kev & I spent too much time and money at Home Depot (Kevin is like a kid in a candy store there-except the candy is very expensive!) but at least we got what we needed for a couple projects! Saturday night we went out to the movies! I love date night with my hubby! Since I like action movies (and since Hugh Jackman was in the new action movie for the weekend) it was an easy choice at the box office for us!
Today we went to the Renaissance Festival with tickets that our wonderful neighbors gave us. Mom, Dad, Betsy & the boys, Kevin and I all went down to Fairburn and enjoyed the event. I had always wanted to go, but never seemed to make it down. It was so much fun! We didn't have time to see everything, I think we will have to go back again next year! (Although maybe we won't let Kevin into the Pirate Ship store where he spent most of his time-and more money-getting a sword, gun, and some knives. Boys and their toys-and they say we girls are expensive!! Oh alright, I wasn't completely immune to all the fun things to buy! I did get a toe ring and a cool gypsy sash that jingled as I walked-(thanks mom! I love them!!). It makes my want to take a belly dancing class!!) I got a few pictures, until my camera died, so I will try to get those posted soon!

I can't wait to go to the festival next weekend! We were supposed to go yesterday but I am sure Bethany told you the weather scared me away. Plus, I wasn't feeling too well yesterday anyway. We are going to make it a Mother's Day event! ha ha! (and Corey's birthday) We won't have any money to spend but I know we will still have fun. I have only been twice with high school groups and it is WAY different from what I can tell for school groups! ha ha!
