Since I have become obsessed with WAY TOO MANY things lately, I decided I really did need to get a library card and try to save some money there. (Both Kevin and I spend a TON of money on books-so at least it isn't just my fault that our house is full of books!!)
Anyhow, Saturday morning I set out with the coordinates logged into my phone so I could find our local Library and see what goodness I could bring home with me!
Turns out it was a quick trip to a tiny little building right down the road from our house.

I did bring 4 books home with me, (and bought this one for 10 cents!!) but I think that was pretty much EVERY book there that I would even be interested in reading. So when these are due back on the 20th, I will have to find out if they can get books from other libraries, or else this will be a one time deal!
I picked up Eliza's Daughter by Joan Aiken (which I had wanted to read)
Kate's Choice (a children's book of three short stories) and
A Long Fatal Love Chase by Louisa May Alcott (I had never heard of either of these)
Killer Smile by Lisa Scottoline (I love her books!)
I read Kate's Choice Saturday night after getting back from Sips n Strokes, and I have now started Eliza's Daughter. I like it so far, but I am only 2 chapters in so that isn't saying much!

I am reading The Help because everyone else is.
I am so proud of you for finally finding a library.
Yes, they can request books from other branches. But you live in a pretty large area. There has to be a larger library not too far from where you live - somewhere between home and work? Don't give up yet!
We go to two different ones, every single week. Good stuff - my boys are just as addicted as I am!
