This post is for Carrie, Rachel and Betsy! Y'all will be proud! Although I didn't use any coupons-still can't get into the whole clipping coupon craze-at least I shopped at Kroger and I only bought things on sale!
I needed to pick up some butter and chicken (I saw they were on sale in Kroger's weekly flier.) and saw a few more items on sale while I was there.
I picked up:
1) 1.72 pounds of Zucchinni
2) one bag of Fritos
3) 3 packs of butter
4) 2.66 pounds of sweet potatoes
5) one package Philly Cream Cheese
6) 7 packages boneless/skinless chicken breasts (around 1 1/2 pounds each)
My receipt total was $75 something-then I gave them my Kroger card to scan and my new total was $32.54
My savings was...drum-roll please...$42.88
Awesome!!! I saved more than I spent! Woo-hoo!! Gotta love Kroger!!

Good job Em! I am so proud. Now I will just have to get you addicted to the "rush" that coupons can bring... then you can be as happy as I am! (or perhaps the right word is as sad as I am?)
