O.K. Who just looked at this because of the title!?! Admit it, you thought it was going to be a juicy story, and it turns out all you get is my first blog experience. Gotcha!!
I can sure talk up a storm, so I am guessing this blogging thing could be for me!! My older sister Bethany, started the blog trend in our family. My next younger sister Kelsey, joined to blogging world when she lived in India for a summer, then left for awhile and rejoined after getting married and moving to Uganda. That left Mary, the baby, and me. So even though I am not one to normally run with the crowd I have decided to join the blogging world.
I think I will start with an introduction of myself-a basic overview is already on my blog. I was born into the Binkley family on July 8th 1981, a second daughter with a total of four in the end. My parents raised us in a Christian household and my dad was actually a pastor for awhile and then did full time mission work for a good part of my adolescence. Eventually he changed to part-time mission work while keeping a full time job with a friend of the family and we were (and still are) the American base for a ministry called Bibles For All. We moved around all the time and that really made us close. (And I think gave me my constant desire for change and adventure.) I loved growing up in such a close-knit family. I agree very much with Jo in Little Women that "I could never love anyone like I love my sisters." There is a special bond between us Binkley girls that I am so thankful for. My mom is also one of my best friends in the world and we tease that I am the first successful clone because I am so much like her. It is scary at times! After graduating from JOY Academy I attended Reinhardt College and graduated with a Communications degree in May of 2004-I actually finished in Dec 03, but it is a small school and didn't offer a December graduation. I married Kevin Turner over five years ago on June 14th 2003. We live in a cute starter home together and both work full time, he at Chick-fil-A and I at Sunshine Window Cleaning. Both of our families live close by so that is nice because we are able to do holiday's with everyone. Well that gets you basically up to date so far. We are dealing with infertility issues right now (my body doesn't want to ovulate) so we are seeing a specialist and trying to have patience and see where God leads us in this situation. That is one of the main reasons why I decided to start this blog. I think it will be good for me to write down all that I am going through. I was thinking that I would add my hobbies, favorites, etc. to the blog, but you can always read about those on my facebook or myspace page. I will try to write again soon-just in case anyone wants to read about my life!!

I am so glad you have joined the blog world! I know we talk on the phone pretty often, but for some reason I really like READING what is going on too. (big surprise there, huh?)
I do have a correction to make though... Kelsey started her India blog before I started mine, so technically she was the first. She only wrote about 5 times though, so I hardly count that!
We'll work on your format a little, but I think your blog looks great. I love you, Bethany
Welcome to blog world!!!!
You will love it, and I can't wait to read about your journey to motherhood!
Hi, Emilee! I just ran across your blog through Bethany's. Yay for you! I really want to start a blog of my own soon. For now, I am just using the notes on Facebook. Maybe after we're done with our move, I'll get something going. Prayin' for you, my friend!
